First Annual Dia de los Muertos Memorial Altar

GPS Law Office’s First Annual Dia de los Muertos Memorial Altar opened to the community at the end of October, 2019. This altar served to honor those with disabilities who have passed away, with special sections for self-advocates who fought for the rights of the disabled, and those who were victims of brutality, or died tragically. In addition to the altar, paintings by local artist Lilia Ramirez and zines by poet Noemi Martinez were on display.
